Fiona and Brendan - Ravello Wedding, July 17th, 2009

Brendan and I would like to express our sincere thanks to the whole Exclusive Italy Team! Without these guys our Wedding day would not have been as special as we hoped for.

We began our preparations quite early (Feb 08!) and from the starting point to the end Sara was very helpful and very good to us. Not only was she so patient and also so organized we were very well prepared. Everything we wanted from the church to the florist to a birthday cake was arranged in the utmost ease and reliability. Our dream was to have a most elegant affair for a small wedding party which was exactly what we got! Sara had suggested some great ideas from the start and both Brendan and I fell in love with the small picturesque village of Ravello. We believe this to be the most beautiful place in the world. It is off the beaten track, secluded from the hustle and bustle of Amalfi coast and truly has the best views of the Bay of Naples. We have traveled across the globe from some years now together and believe us when we say this place will always be our favorite place in the world!

We were very lucky to visit Ravello a few weeks before we got married too and it really was a huge advantage to us. I would recommend anyone to do the same. We got to meet our wonderful wedding coordinator for the day (truly a wonderful person), the florist (very creative and exclusive) and also the hairdresser (attention to detail is amazing) and also our hotel for our stay (Hotel Rufolo) who were all so kind and wonderful to us both. They all gave so much advice and also put all our nerves at ease. I know from planning our wedding my biggest concern was meeting these people and rest assured every worry we had disappeared.

Our celebrations for our big day took place at the Exclusive Villa which was truly magnificent. The crypt which hosted the evening dinner was described by our guests as something out of a fairytale. There were candles, flowers, a fantastic swing band, and most importantly fantastic service from their staff. Not only was Brendan and I looked after to the highest attention but all of our guests were too. We were only sad to leave it behind. Our celebrations continued on into the early hours of the next day with an after party disco in the centre of Ravello where our guests dances the night way!!
