Andrew Coffey & Lorna Regan, Positano wedding on May 5th, 2008

Having just returned from our amazing few days in Positano, we thought we'd write a few lines on what a wonderful experience it was! Having used some internet testimonials ourselves to help us choose Exclusive Italy for our wedding, we thought we would write one ourselves to share our experiences.

As soon as we selected Exclusive Italy, the whole planning process went smoothly. Sara, our planner, did a fantastic job. She always answered our questions promptly, made some great suggestions (the beach front reception in particular) and showed great patience and calmness thoughout the whole process. We had everything planned a few weeks before we travelled, and we felt totally confident that everything was under control.

When the week of the wedding arrived everything went perfectly to plan. Our group of 12 arrived at Naples airport to be greeted by two pristine Mercedes minivans taking us to Positano in style!

We arrived in Positano to find the hotels ready for us. The hotels themselves were great. We stayed at Covo dei Saraceni which has a great location and has the most amazing breakfast room. Our guests were looked after very well at La Tartana and would very much recommend it.

We were blessed with wonderful weather all week and Positano is a such a beautiful location for a wedding. The actual wedding day was superb and went perfectly to plan. Again we were transfered to and from the venue in a pristine Mercedes. Giovanna, our wedding day co ordintor was brilliant, leading us through the day so well and being so fun and enthusistic. We must also make a special mention to Massimo our photographer who not only took some fantastic photographs of us all over Positano, but managed to get the photos delivered to our hotel room 24 hours after the wedding. A great service!

We opted to have 2 reception events. A beach front one at Buca di Bacco (Sara's idea and a great way for the guests to relax while we were having our photos taken) which was lovely with lots of food and drink in our own private area of the restaurant. The second, a sit down meal at Le Terrazze was superb with great food in a great setting. We ended our night downstairs in Music On The Rocks dancing the night away. The DJ even played a CD we had taken with us for our first dance and a special song for the Father Of The Bride!

The week ended with another well organised Mercedes transfer back to the airport

When we set out planning this wedding we wanted to make sure the day was special for us, but also that our guests had a great time. This was certainly the case, and with Exclusive Italy's help we had 5 days that were unforgettable for everyone there.
