The beautiful Gazebo in the garden can host wedding banquets for max 150 guests. Large groups can enjoy the aperitif in the first part of the garden of the villa, dine under the Gazebo and then have the cutting of the cake by the panorama. Indoor halls are available inside the villa in case of bad weather on two floors.

This venue is certainly romantic and very charming, especially for evening reception when all the villa is illuminated by candles and torches. In the garden there is a BBQ area and wood oven to pamper guests with grilled fish, vegetables meat and Italian pizzas, a midnight buffet that we strongly recommend!

Protestant churches in Amalfi are not available, though there is a Catholic Baroque church, only 5 minutes drive from town, where Protestant ceremonies are permitted. The municipality of Ravello is a charming 12^th century Palace, with a lovely tiny garden with tropical plants, colorful flowers and a vine covered pergola. There is no direct access to ocean views, but an intimate panoramic garden with spectacular vistas is only 2 minutes walking distance.

The ceremony can be celebrated indoors in an intimate hall decorated with antique furnishing. The hall itself has seating up to 10 people and can host up to 40 people standing. During summer, if the weather allows it, outdoor ceremonies can be held in the courtyard.

You can add personal vows, poems and readings to the ceremony. Under request it is possible to decorate the marriage hall with beautiful scented flowers. The interior is simple yet refined, a mix between the mystic beauty of the Romanesque style and the opulence of the Baroque décor. Plenty of light thanks to its white marble and double-light windows. The interior can hold up to 200 people.

Church Santa Maria a Gradillo

Lovely intimate church located three hundred meters along the central via Roma, to the left of the Duomo. Local Mediterranean architecture combined with a mix of Byzanthin and arabic art. This was the place where the town noblemen gathered to discuss civic issues. The small Sicilian-Saracenic bell tower has two light mullion windows. Bright interior with three naves. The church can hold up to 100 people.

Standing on the slopes of the mountain is the collegiate church of Santa Maria Maddalena, built in the 13th century by the people of Atrani in thanks to the Madonna for saving them from the Saracen marauders. It has a single rectangular room, covered by a barrel vault and lit by two large Baroque windows. The façade is also Baroque. The small sacristy holds a white marble Roman cinerary urn. The glazed tile dome and square bell tower have become the symbol of the Atrani skyline.

The Collegiata of Santa Maria Assunta dates back to the 13^th century. Formerly of a single nave with a prestigious floor decorated with bizanthyn mosaics. On the main altar you can admire the beautiful icon of the Black Virgin with child. The legend tells that this icon arrived to Positano from the sea. The floor of the church, 18^th century, was probably created by the Neapolitan School of Chiajese, the same artists that worked on the Santa Chiara cloister in Naples.

The interior of this church is wonderful, in baroque style with delicate marble and golden décors. This church is full of light thanks to the bright pastel colour of the central nave. We recommend this church if you have a fairly large number of guests. The inside can host up to 120 guests.

Ceremony specials

Only Catholic weddings are allowed. The ceremony is celebrated in English. Talented organist and soprano are available. Floral arrangements are possible on the altar only. It is not permitted to decorate the pews.

Ceremony is held in Italian by the Mayor or Civil registrar and translated by an English-speaking interpreter we provide. Seating is available for up to 70 people.

You can add personal vows, poems and readings to the ceremony. Under request it is possible to decorate the marriage hall with beautiful scented flowers. Ideal music: guitar and mandolin. After ceremony we highly recommend to have your pictures taken in the Cloister of Paradise, a beautiful Arabian cloister set beside the impressive Duomo of Amalfi.
