Weddings in Praiano
Praiano was known in the ancient world as "Pelagium" (open sea) and like other villages along the Amalfi Coast, its wonderful landscape lured it for Roman Emperors and wealthy men to its shores during the first century AC.
This town is surely one of the most romantic and genuine corners of the Amalfi Coast, away from the most touristy areas and rich in culture, history and amazing vistas. It is a town quite different from the others on the coast because of it's original Italian spirit not spoiled by the large amount of visitors.
May local town people still gathers in the square of the church of S. Luca and S. Gennaro during the evening, while children will often play soccer... In this town you can enjoy the many fabulous walks, vistas, footpaths and aromas throughout the town.
We consider this to be one of the most authentic and special marriage destination on the Amalfi Coast and we highly recommend it to couples looking for a unique and different experience.
We want to sincerely thank you and your team for producing our spectacular wedding. Everyone always dreams of the perfect wedding, but our wedding in Positano really was a dream come true. There were absolutely no problems, everything was on time and beautiful. Even the weather cooperated to make it a 'time of our lives' experience on the magnificent outdoor terrace at the Positano town hall.
