Amalfi Protestant Wedding
Couples wanting to get married with a protestant ceremony can choose among different kinds of venues.
Protestant churches in Amalfi are not available, though there is a Catholic Baroque church, only 5 minutes drive from town, where Protestant ceremonies are permitted. Another alternative location for a protestant ceremony could be the terrace of a Medieval Saracene Tower overlooking the sea. Truly a spectacular venue. It is also possible to perform the ceremony in a panoramic terrace overlooking the sea, in any hotel of the Amalfi area that allows this kind of ceremony.
There is the possibility to perform two kinds of protestant ceremonies. The first is celebrated by an Italian Pastor that has the authority to perform legally binding ceremonies. The ceremony is co-officiated by an English-speaking interpreter. The second is performed by an English-speaking pastor and the ceremony is religious only (not legally binding).
